Alaska Tent & Tarp has been fabricating and selling geomembranes (pit liners) since 1976. In the decades since, we have fabricated millions of square feet of membranes that are now being used in Alaska and elsewhere in the world.
Installing a very large geomembraneWe maintain a 15,000 sq. ft. production facility in Fairbanks that is equipped with an automated di-electric fabric welder. The welder coupled with our large inventory of geomembrane fabric enables us to fabricate most orders in a very short time. Our location in the interior of Alaska substantially reduces the expense and shipping time to most job sites.
Geomembrane selection is based on the composition of the substance to be contained. Alaska Tent & Tarp has the expertise and experience to assure the customer gets the proper liner for the job. We are affiliated with the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) and are members of the IFAI's Geomembrane Division. We have access to a data base that allows us to provide assistance to both the user and the design professional.
Arctic conditions are our way of life. When it comes to performance of fabrics in the cold, Alaska Tent & Tarp has as much, f not more, experience than any fabricator in the world. The fabrics we carry in inventory have been tested by us and proven in the field under the most demanding Arctic applications.
