The Arctic Oven is in use in many places in Alaska and other cold regions of the world. Here are a few pictures of the tent in actual field use, and some others from in the shop showing detail.

Have some photos of your own Alaska Tent and Tarp portable buildings in the field? Send them along.

Inside the tent can be as roomy as you need, or as small as our pup model. Notice the high ceiling. No need to get dressed laying down in this tent.

Alaskan Kent Kantowski used his Arctic Oven in The Serum Run in 2002. Kent reports that "this is a 20-day dog team/snow machine journey from Nenana to Nome, a distance of 776 miles. The first commemorative race was run in 1997. In 1925 this trail was traveled by a relay team of 20 mushers carrying life-saving diphtheria serum for the people of Nome." Photo courtesy Kent A. I think I've convinced another person (or two) to order Arctic Oven tents - that's gotta be about 7 that have been ordered in Norman Wells, NWT since I first saw them in Fairbanks at Outdoors Show back in 1996 (or 1997 - forget which now). Every time someone sees them - they are impressed! We have two we use for work in the Mackenzie Mountains and they are just absolutely wonderful tents.

Here's some pictures of your tents in action on spring ski trips in the Mackenzie Mountains these last couple of years. All photographs taken by me. Shows some of our lovely boreal forest/alpine scenery and the luxury of having the Arctic Oven in which to relax in the evenings after a long day of skiing.

Anytime you guys want an endorsement from me/us - don't hesitate to ask. We'd be glad to provide one! Photos and comments from A. Veitch Canada.

The wife's gone for the day....and the tent has to try out somewhere!   Camp on the Kantishna. Fall hunting is great, espeically when you can get out of the rain and dry out by the stove in an Arctic Oven Tent. Photos by Barry Munsell.

Here's a picture of the Arktika lit up from within. We were up the Dalton, camped at the Kuparuk River, the last weekend of October. I don't know what the temperature was, but our truck wouldn't start and water bottles froze to the floor. The tent was the HEAT, and was our only source of warmth. Thanks for an outstanding product! Photo by Al Sikes.   John Hicks from Glennallen (with bear hide on pack) and Gary Bartelson from Anchorage used this Arctic Oven tent to end a successful 2006 Kodiak spring brown bear hunt in April 2006. This tent was awesome, lots of room and warm and dry. Helped us get a good night's rest and go out in the cold glassing all day. Handled some hard gusts of wind as well which Kodiak is known for. Thanks for a great product. Photo taken by Gary Bartelson,
